Journal no.3 ASSURE Model Lesson Plan

Today in EDET class I learned about the ASSURE method of planning lessons

Prior to this class I had no previous knowledge about the ASSURE model. 

However,I learned that the purpose of the ASSURE model is to incorporate or integrate technology into lesson. This method requires that the teacher analyse the learners. The teacher has to evaluate the students based on their ability levels, learning styles, attitude and any other aspect of major concern.

Moreover, I learnt that the instructor should have have clear objectives as to what should should be achieved in the lesson. Student participation is also a requirement in this method. Therefore, the teacher should actively engage each student.
I however hand trouble memorizing the stages of the ASSURE model, but i'm sure as time passes i'll get the hang of things .

I would love to learn more about the ASSURE model , as well as how to write lesson plans using this technique. As a future educator I certainly see myself using this method to tho plan my lessons as this is extremely relevant in the fast pacing world we live in.
